Questions Every Student Doctor Should Ask

Have I affirmed my AOIA membership?
As a student enrolled in an accredited college of osteopathic medicine, you are also a member of the American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA). The AOIA provides many benefits to its members, including the opportunity to be involved with AOIA'S political arm, the Osteopathic Political Action Committee (OPAC).Since dues are not required of students, you must affirm your membership in the AOIA. Please click here to affirm your AOIA membership and stay politically connected!

Is my voter registration current?
Many students forget to change their voter registration when they move to attend medical school. Update your voter registration information so you don’t miss out on helping to decide who represents you now!

What are the issues that will directly affect my life as a physician?

How can I be more politically involved?
As a medical student you often do not have the resources to contribute to political campaigns. There are many ways to be politically active that do not require large contributions. You can volunteer with a political campaign, host a voter registration drive at your osteopathic medical school, encourage others to vote, more.
