American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA)
The American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) is the 501(c)(6) membership organization uniquely dedicated to gathering and disseminating information about osteopathic physicians and the osteopathic profession. Representing osteopathic physicians and students in this capacity, the AOIA provides many benefits to its members including the opportunity to be politically involved in campaigns and elections. The internal revenue service prohibits organizations with a 501(c)(3) tax status, like the AOA, from political campaign activity. Due to these restrictions, the AOIA serves this purpose for the osteopathic community through its political arm, OPAC.
Many D.O.s are members of the AOIA through membership in other organizations. Log-in now and find out if you are a current member of the AOIA!
Osteopathic medical students must affirm their complimentary membership in the AOIA. If you are a student, please affirm your membership today so you too can receive the benefits the AOIA has to offer.
